Iridium 9555 high capacity battery accessory is available for ordering using part number BAT41101. This new battery provides customers with up to 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 43 hours of standby time in full network coverage. The battery is integrated with the design of the Iridium 9555, is low-profile, and easy to install and remove.
The Iridium 9555 standard capacity battery will continue to ship with the 9555 phone kit and be available as an accessory. The Iridium 9555 high capacity battery is designed to be sold to customers as an add-on purchase and in addition to the standard battery that is shipped with the Iridium 9555.
